Mikaela Jordan is a writer and a publishing and communications professional from British Columbia, Canada. Her passion for storytelling was sparked at a young age, inspired by captivating authors and the vibrant world of online fanfiction and supernatural, fantasy, and horror literature. A graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Master’s in Publishing program, Mikaela even designed a course on “Vampires in Publishing,” a topic she hopes to teach one day.

In her adventurous life, Mikaela has been an NHL ice girl, worked at Disney World, appeared in the background of Netflix shows, and married her high school sweetheart. She loves to try every experience but for the lives she can’t live, she turns to the page, crafting stories in her favourite genres: dark romance, paranormal romance, and horror.

Mikaela’s Wattpad novel, Shift, written at 16, has garnered over a million views. Currently, she works at her hometown library and is chair of the Magazine Association of BC.
